Mathew Regier - Windsor, Ontario

Hi, I'm Mathew. I help businesses get more leads and build the software that turns them into customers.

I work in two related lanes - marketing and software. Some clients hire me for one, some for both. Whatever the industry, the goal is usually the same: more qualified leads, faster follow-up, and systems that hold up after launch.

I care about response speed, clean data, and follow-up that actually happens. Most of my favourite work is invisible until you watch the leads roll in.

About me

A little about how I got here.

I'm a 23-year-old developer and marketer based in Windsor, Ontario. I started building websites when I was 9 - it was the first thing that really stuck. From there I got into game development, eventually co-founding a small studio (85 Plus Games) with a popular streamer who funded the team, and leading the 5-person crew that shipped Unrooted on Steam, where it sits at Very Positive today. That's where I learned to think in systems, ship things end-to-end, and obsess over how something feels to use.

Marketing came later. I picked it up almost by accident, got hooked on the strategy side of it, and pretty quickly realized the most interesting work happens at the intersection - where the campaigns, the software, and the data all meet. That's the lane I work in now: building the marketing systems and writing the software underneath them, usually on the same project.

I've worked across automotive retail, local services, gaming, and SaaS - because the underlying work transfers. If a business runs on leads, conversations, and follow-up, I can help.

What I do

Two sides of the same job.

Most of my work falls into one of these two tracks. Pick the one that fits what you're trying to solve - or hire me for both, which is what most of my long-term clients end up doing.

Track 01

Marketing & growth

For teams that need more leads, better conversion, and campaigns that run end-to-end. I plan the strategy, write the copy, run the spend, and own the funnel.

  • Lead generationPaid and organic campaigns built around a real funnel, not vanity metrics.
  • Paid mediaGoogle Ads, Meta, and SMS campaigns I plan, write, and optimize.
  • CRM & follow-upGoHighLevel, LeadConnector, and custom workflows for nurture and reactivation.
  • Conversion & CROLanding pages, offers, and on-site flows tuned to turn traffic into contacts.
  • SEO & analyticsAttribution, UTM tracking, and reporting that actually answers questions.

Track 02

Software & systems

For teams that need real software built - websites, internal tools, integrations, AI features, and the platforms that hold everything together.

  • Web & productReact, TypeScript, Next.js, and full-stack apps built to last.
  • APIs & integrationsConnecting CRMs, payment, messaging, data, and third-party services cleanly.
  • AI featuresChat assistants, voice AI, SMS bots, and AI-assisted workflows wired into real products.
  • Automation enginesCustom Node and Python services that run the boring work in the background.
  • Infra & opsAWS, Railway, deployments, monitoring, and the glue that keeps it all online.

Selected work

Things I've built.

A few projects I'm proud of, with the short version of what I did and what came out of it. The industries vary - the underlying work doesn't.

Software evixie.com

Evixie AI

I'm building Evixie - an AI-powered CRM launching May 2026. It brings conversations, pipelines, AI-assisted replies, automated follow-ups, calling, and multi-location management into one place. The first verticals are dealerships, realtors, and warranty companies, but the platform is built to fit any sales team that lives in conversations.

  • Unified inbox - every conversation in one place.
  • AI reply suggestions you actually review and send.
  • Drag-and-drop pipelines tailored to each industry.
  • Automated follow-ups that trigger on time, stage, or behaviour.
  • Built first for dealerships, realtors, and warranty teams.
Marketing + Software rockymotors.com

Rocky Motors

I rebuilt an entire automotive retail platform from the ground up, then I ran the marketing on top of it. Over 100,000+ lines of code across the React/TypeScript frontend and Node/Express backend, plus the inventory system, CRM integrations, AI chat, and lead automation that all run on top. The site now pulls in 4,000+ monthly visitors, generates 300+ organic leads a month at a 7.5% conversion rate (well above the ~2% industry average), and I run the paid and organic campaigns end-to-end. The same approach would work for any local business that lives on leads and follow-up.

Marketing + Software newlookcurbs.com

New Look Curbs

A brand new site I just shipped for a stamped concrete curbing company in Windsor Essex County. Custom site, on-page SEO for local search, a mobile-tuned quote-request flow, and a portfolio gallery to show the craftsmanship. Built to convert local searches into 24-hour quote requests.

Marketing + Software extremecurbing.com

Extreme Curbing

I designed and built the website for a local landscaping and cement curbing business. The goal was simple - show the work clearly, rank locally, and make it easy to request a quote from a phone. The same template works for any local service business.

Game development Steam page

Unrooted

I co-founded 85 Plus Games with a popular streamer who funded the studio, and led the development of Unrooted - a hand-painted precision platformer in the Jump King / Foddian style. As lead developer and producer I built the core gameplay mechanics, hired and managed the 5-person art, design, and tech team, and built the Unity tools, shaders, and editor pipeline that kept the project moving. Shipped on Steam in August 2024 inside a $100K budget and is currently sitting at Very Positive (86%) with 100+ reviews.

Software peeposervers.com

Peepo Servers

A side project for hosting game servers and community events. I built the infrastructure, the site, and the tooling for running events with friends. Mostly an excuse to play with hosting, real-time systems, and gaming infra.

What I work with

A short list of what I'm good at.

I usually pick the right tool for the job rather than forcing a stack. These are the things I reach for most often, grouped roughly by what they're for.

Frontend

React, TypeScript, Next.js, plain HTML and CSS, Tailwind, and shadcn/ui when it fits. I care about responsiveness, accessibility, and how a page actually feels to use.

Backend & data

Node.js, Express, PHP, Python, MongoDB, MySQL, REST APIs, webhooks, AWS S3, Railway, and a lot of Google Sheets glue when speed matters more than elegance.

Marketing & CRM

Google Ads, Meta, GoHighLevel and LeadConnector, Twilio A2P, SendGrid, attribution and UTM tracking, plus the campaign side of things - copy, landing pages, and offers.

AI & automation

OpenAI, custom chat assistants, voice AI, SMS bots, and workflow automation - everything from qualifying leads to booking calls and handling follow-up.

What I love building

The work I get most excited about.

I'm at my best when marketing and software are working on the same problem. These are the kinds of things I genuinely enjoy designing, building, and shipping.

01

Systems that make businesses run better

Internal tools, dashboards, and back-office systems that turn manual, repetitive work into something that just runs in the background. Less time on busywork, more time on the parts that actually move a business forward.

02

Complex automations and workflows

Multi-step automations that connect CRMs, messaging, AI, and data so the right thing happens at the right moment - lead routing, follow-up, reactivation, reporting - without anyone having to remember to push a button.

03

Software that makes business lives easier

Custom websites, apps, and internal tools built around how a business actually operates - not how some off-the-shelf SaaS wants them to. The kind of software people stop noticing because it just works.

04

Bringing more customers in the door

Lead-gen built around real intent. Paid, organic, and SMS funnels designed to put the right people in front of the right offer at the right time, with attribution clean enough that you can actually see what's working.

05

Subconscious marketing that converts

Subtle copy, design, and timing decisions that meet people where their guard is down. Small choices most teams skip - the kind of thing that quietly turns curious visitors into qualified leads without ever feeling like a hard sell.

Numbers from real work

Some results I'm proud of.

Pulled from a multi-year client where I run both the marketing and the software. The numbers are specific to that business, but the systems and approach behind them work in any lead-driven environment.

Website 300+

Organic leads a month from around 4,000 monthly visitors.

Conversion 7.5%

Lead conversion rate, well above a ~2% industry average.

Google Ads $0.84

Average CPC vs a $2.46 industry benchmark.

Cost per lead $4.44

Average CPL vs a $17.50 benchmark.

SMS campaigns 30K

Cold messages a month generating around 9K replies.

Lead volume 500

Monthly leads from the SMS engine I built.
